ð Part of the event included an exhibition curated by the professors of the International College. One of the highlights was the exhibition ‘Samila Complex’ in the ‘Future Perfect’ section, organized by Dr. Pailin Thavornvijit and Asst. Prof. Dr. Atitaya Nitchoti ðĻ. The exhibition featured a blend of photographs of abandoned waste on Samila Beach ðïļ and paintings reflecting memories of the beach over time. This work not only questions beliefs and traditions but also highlights the impact of environmental neglect ðŋ by presenting waste in a form resembling sacred objects awaiting reverence. Visitors can experience the beauty of nature intertwined with memories and profound questions embedded in every image ð·.
We were also honored to have the Paktai Design Week team come and give a behind-the-scenes presentation on the event.
